✈️ How Far Can a Paper Airplane Fly?
You might think paper airplanes are just for fun—but with the right design, they can really fly! In fact, the world record for a paper airplane flight is over 200 feet—that’s longer than a football field!

So how does a flat piece of paper turn into a flying machine?

It’s all about aerodynamics—how air moves around an object. A paper airplane needs a good shape, balance, and a strong throw. If the wings are too floppy or the folds are crooked, the plane won’t fly straight. If the nose is too heavy, it might dive!

Real airplanes use engines to fly. Paper airplanes use the energy from your hand. The better the design, the farther it can glide through the air.

Different wing shapes do different things. Wide wings help a plane glide. Pointy wings help it go fast. Try them out and see what works best!
