đ Do Pets Need Exercise?
You already know that kids need exerciseâbut what about pets? Yep! Just like us, pets need to move their bodies to stay healthy, strong, and happy.
Dogs love to walk, run, and play fetch. Cats may chase toys, climb, or stretch their bodies. Even small pets like hamsters or rabbits need room to run or wheels to spin. Exercise helps animals use their muscles and keeps their hearts strong.
Some pets get bored if they donât move around enough. They might chew on things, bark too much, or act wild. Exercise helps them burn off energy and feel calm.
Thatâs why many parks now have pet play areasâwith ramps, tunnels, and even mini monkey bars (yes, for dogs!). These spaces are made to help animals explore and stay active in a fun, safe way.
So yesâpets need exercise too. And when pets are healthy, they live longer and feel better!
Did You Know?
Some cats can run up to 30 miles per hour in short bursts. Thatâs faster than a bike!
đ§ Your Challenge:
Design monkey bars that can hold weight or sit on uneven land. Think about safety, balance, and how animalsâor peopleâmight climb on them!
